Headline: International Fabric Exhibition in Tianjin: Highlights and Results
The 2024 ITF (International Textile Federation) International Fabric Exhibition in Tianjin commenced on June 26. The exhibition showcased a variety of fabrics and witnessed several surprising results. Out of the top 8 fabric designers, only the second-seeded Yang Yidi and the sixth-seeded Chen Mengyi managed to advance, while the rest were eliminated.
During the exhibition, Yu Chengyiyi's designs were up against those of Zhou Yehua. Zhou quickly made an impression, winning the first round with a score of 6:3. Yu recovered in the second round, securing a 6:2 victory. However, Zhou held her ground in the decisive round, winning 6:3 and moving on to the next stage.
In the men's category, Zhang Linghao turned the tables on Zhang Changli, winning 4:6, 6:2, 6:1. His next opponent will be the top-seeded designer, Indian contestant Makand. Zhou Yi won convincingly with two 6:1 rounds against Taiwanese designer Lu Zhenyu, advancing to the next stage.
